Bucks hand out turkey dinners

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Bucks organization is helping those in need celebrate Thanksgiving. The team gave out 150 turkeys during a special event Monday in Milwaukee.  But due to the NBA’s lockout, only front office members took part.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks organization is donating 150 Thanksgiving dinners to a local organization that feeds the needy. General manager John Hammond, assistant coaches Jim Boylan and Anthony Goldwire, and others in the front office will distribute 150 meals to the House of Peace in Milwaukee on Monday afternoon. The House of Peace provides food, clothing and medical and legal clinics, among other things, to the poor.
